The Koichi/Toyo Nerio Scholarship was established in 2004 with the fund donated to the Southeast Japanese School and Community Center by the Koichi/Toyo Nerio Charitable Remainder Unitrust. The scholarships will be awarded every year to qualified graduating high school seniors who have academic, cultural and athletic potentials for the purpose of encouraging them to achieve excellence in higher education.
