Welcome to Karaoke Club
Karaoke classes are held every Monday nights at 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Yasuo Tokuishi sensei has been the instructor since 1987. The class is taught a new popular Japanese song for 2 to 3 weeks each during the first hour. During the second and third hour, class member sing their own favorite songs. The club belongs to the Akebono Karaoke Dokokai which is comprised of three other local karaoke clubs. The Akebono groups have frequent karaoke variety fund-raising shows in which many of the members sing. Some of the club activities include: hosting the community center bingo games, singing at the annual cultural festival at the communith center, visiting and singing at the Keiro Nursing Home, sponsoring Karaoke variety shows, and supporting the community center activities.
